A week or so after we reported Viacom offered to purchase Anthony Volodkin’s music blog aggregator Hype Machine, a fourth source has come forward to tell us that nothing has been signed, but that a deal is in the works. Despite our best reporting efforts (see image), we still do not know who Hype Machine’s potential purchaser is. Maybe you know? Tell me. Nobody will know it was you.
